I am from India and I'll be graduating this year from Biotechnology course. I am interested in pursuing further research in molecular cell biology. Also, I did a short project about prion proteins in a well known institute in my country which I hope will help me get into a nice university abroad. I have an average cgpa of 9.6 out of 10.
I am worried that I won't get any good university in my country this year due to the competition. Is it logical to apply abroad this year? Even if I do apply, I have no clue how to approach different universities. Any advice? Also, I can't afford to spend a lot of money due to financial issues and I am willing to work hard wherever I'll go, because I love the field immensely.
Will I get the same leverage if I apply next year after I graduate?
