I've been going around in circles on this. My brain just cannot grasp what is meant by the descriptions of Behaviorism, Cognitivism, and Constructivism.
In particular, what is this concept that "knowledge exists outside the person" in Behaviorism and Cognitivism? Where is the knowledge if it's outside the person? Then Constructivism talks about how learners construct knowledge and meaning - does that mean knowledge is inside the person? What is the significance of this when it comes to learning? Why does it matter if it's inside or outside a person?
I feel like I've read so many papers trying to get a clear understanding of learning theories... but honestly, I'm still confused. I feel like an idiot, but I just want answers.
If anyone has any good resources that explain learning theories, please share also.
