Why my outlook is not sending emails?

Even though it looks like Outlook should be able to send an email message, there are occasions when it is unable to do so due to problems such as outlook emails becoming trapped in the outbox. You are in luck because you can fix this issue on your own by following the troubleshooting procedures that are listed below. Proceed through the steps one at a time for the greatest possible outcomes, and don't stop until your problem has been fixed or you've identified the answer that's most suitable for you.

Disable any automatic software updates.

It's possible that you have automatic updates enabled in Outlook, which is preventing it from sending emails. During the installation of updates, Microsoft Outlook may unexpectedly close, making it impossible for the programme to send or receive emails.

To deactivate automatic updates, navigate to the File menu and select Options > Advanced. Uncheck the option that is next to Check for updates and locate it under the heading Automatic Updates.

Remove any earlier versions of Outlook from your computer.

In the event that you are experiencing difficulties with Outlook, one of the things you may do is remove any prior versions of the programme. This is due to the fact that older versions can occasionally cause problems by conflicting with newer ones and causing issues.

To accomplish this, open the Control Panel, navigate to the Programs and Features submenu, and then locate Outlook in the list of programmes that have been installed.

Use the context menu to pick Uninstall after right-clicking on it.

After you have finished uninstalling Outlook by following the on-screen prompts, proceed as follows:

You should restart your computer now.

Open Outlook once more and check to see if the problem has been fixed.
