The U.S. EV mandate, primarily driven by the EPA’s Multi‑Pollutant Emissions Standards for model years 2027+, sets ambitious goals: 26% of new light‑duty vehicles sold by 2027, 44% by 2030, and 56% by 2032 must be electric.
