Hi everyone,

I’ve been building custom cabinetry in my garage in Burlington for the last two years, and my order book is finally full enough that I need to quit my day job. My neighbor, who runs a local plumbing outfit, keeps telling me that I’m crazy for not having a formal business setup in canada yet because of the personal liability risks. I’m currently debating whether to register just here in Ontario or go for a federal incorporation so I can eventually expand my furniture sales into Montreal and Vancouver. Does anyone have experience with the paperwork load for a multi-province business setup in canada?
