I’m renovating an older house and can’t decide on the heating setup. I love the classic look of traditional radiators, especially cast iron styles, but I’m worried about efficiency and running costs compared with modern panel designs.

I’ve been browsing radiators online to compare prices and sizes, though it’s hard to judge quality without seeing them in person. Has anyone here installed traditional radiators recently? How do they perform with a modern boiler or heat pump, and are they worth the higher upfront cost?

Any advice on brands, sizing, or things to avoid would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance!
