I think it is extremely lazy as an educator to simply take a lesson book and regurgitate it to your students. While it may have some beneficial activities and exercises, I think that it would be the most beneficial to your students to be creative and tinker your lesson plan to that class you have. It may take more time planning and creating these lesson plans, but in the end it will be more fun and beneficial to both you and the students.
I think it is more important that a teacher will oaln before he/she to teach other wise he will face a lot of problems and cannot teach properly.planning is very import in al aspects of life.thanks

Hello friends, I am planning to teach maths in next year, and my wife (an elementary education major) tells me that I will need to spend hours planning each step of my lessons. As a business major, I wonder why not just buy a book with lesson plans already written (rather than reinventing the peel year after year) and adapting it if I need to.Is this allowed? Are high school math teachers to produce original lesson plans? Why? Especially since math doesn't exactly change much year to year, so, why write lesson plans instead of buying them? Please suggest me. Thanks!
