Passwords guarantee our privacy and security, yet we have so many to remember these days, and they never get easier. You can update your HP printer's default password without calling your IT guy or waiting in line at the print shop.
This post shows 5 easy methods to update your HP printer password. How?
1) Registration
Register your HP product. Online or by phone. Create an account after registering. Change the printer's password from the control panel.
First, click User Setup.
Next, choose New Username.
Save your new username. Enter a new password twice and click Save.
Click Done to complete account setup.
2) Reset device
Resetting your device will reset your password if you've forgotten it. This restores your printer to factory settings, allowing you to create a new password.
How-to Unplug the printer. Unplug USB and Ethernet connections from the printer's rear. 10-second wait. Wait until the power light comes on before plugging in.
