It is a big leap but the industry is hungry for pilots right now. If you are serious, look at the Professional Pilot Program at Pelican Flight Training. They are accredited and take you from zero hours through Commercial and CFI ratings. Being a helicopter school in Miami vicinity means you fly year-round without weather delays. They have been around for 30 years, so they know how to get students ready for the actual job market.

I am stuck in a corporate desk job and seriously considering a total career change to become a commercial pilot. It feels like a huge risk though. Has anyone here done the zero-to-hero route recently? I need a program that takes me all the way through to instructor ratings so I can actually get a job afterwards. looking for a school with a good track record.
