So the brake pad wear warning lit up on my Ghibli yesterday and I'm trying to figure out if I need to do this immediately or if I have some time. It's a 2019 model and I've only put about 15,000 kilometers on it since I bought it last year so I wasn't expecting this so soon but maybe the previous driver was harder on the brakes than I thought. I've heard these cars can be a bit sensitive with the sensors and sometimes the warning comes on early but I don't want to risk it obviously. The thing is I'm traveling for work next week and won't have time to deal with it until I get back. I've been searching online for Maserati brake pad change specialists in Dubai because I want someone who actually knows the wiring and sensor setup on these Italian cars. Don't want to end up with some garage that breaks a sensor clip and then tells me I need a whole new assembly or something. A friend suggested a place in Dubai Silicon Oasis that works on exotics but I can't remember the name. Anyone here with a Ghibli or Levante had their brakes done recently? Would love to know if you went with genuine Maserati pads or if there's a good aftermarket option that works just as well without the dealer tax.
