Jump into a few Black Ops 7 matches now and the pattern shows up fast. Sightlines matter again, positioning matters again, and the old habit of sprinting into every room with a close-range melt machine doesn't carry fights the way it used to. Right in the middle of all that, the DS20 Mirage has become the rifle people trust. Not because it's flashy. Because it fixes the exact problems that used to hold it back, and now it fits the tempo of Season 3 better than almost anything else.

The big story isn't just raw damage. It's how the Mirage delivers that damage now. The added effective range means the gun stays reliable further out, so those mid-lane fights don't suddenly feel weak if your target takes two extra steps back.
