I've got a 2016 Pajero that I absolutely love but it keeps killing batteries every 12 to 14 months and I'm starting to lose my mind. The first time I thought it was just a cheap brand, second time I blamed the summer heat, but now the third one is showing signs of weakness and I've only had it for about a year. I live in Arabian Ranches and mostly do short trips to the community center and back, so maybe that's part of it? A friend mentioned that a proper installation that includes cleaning terminals and checking the ground strap can make a huge difference. I saw something online about Veteran Battery Installation Arabian Ranches that apparently takes the time to check for parasitic drain instead of just swapping and leaving. Has anyone actually had them diagnose a recurring battery problem or do they just do quick replacements like everyone else? I really don't want to buy a fourth battery if something else in the car is killing them. Also wondering if an 80D26L AGM battery would survive the heat better than a regular flooded one.
