A browser-only workflow fits me because I download Instagram videos occasionally rather than every day. I like being able to copy a public video link, open one page, and finish the task there. When I was testing whether I really needed a dedicated app, I used SnapTik directly in my mobile browser and found the experience simple enough that I kept using that approach. I didn’t have to change my phone setup or learn another interface. After saving the file, I could close the tab and continue normally. For occasional use, that flexibility is exactly what I want because the tool is available when needed without becoming another permanent part of the device.
For occasional downloads, a browser tool makes perfect sense to me. I like not having to install or update another app just for a simple task. The workflow also stays almost identical across devices, which is helpful. If I move from my phone to a laptop, I can use the same basic copy-and-paste method and keep everything familiar.
I actually prefer browser tools for occasional Instagram video downloads because I don’t need another app sitting on my phone. If I already have the public post link, opening a website feels faster and lighter. Has downloading videos without installing an app worked well for you too?
